Still waiting for my work to approve my day off so I can come down otherwise I would have pre-registered already but yeah if I have the day off you will be seeing me there for sure!

got a couple questions here:

1. for the keyboard contest what kind rules are there? like can I use my own custom speed mods? C650/C750 etc?

2. Will we all be playing the keyboard contest on the same PC? or bring your own? (BYO im guessing but just wanna be sure)

3.If it is bring your own do we have a network set up so we can host a pack of simfiles that can be used for tourney use? otherwise we will end up not having the same stuff probably (we definatly need KBCMP and a few others)

4. How long into the Lan is this happening? will we have time to submit songs for use? if its earlier we might want to get it ready ahead of time on like yousendit.com or something.

5.Last question and the most important.. where is the nearest pizza place?

A: Your score is going to be based on how you do and witch mod your using. Your going to get a better score depending on these factors; One or two handed keyboard use, speed of the scrol (X1.5,X2,X3...) , hidden arrows... (you get the idea)

What do you mean by this? I get a point deduction for using a speed mod? and one or two hands? HUH this is being judged? this isn't freestyle so Im guessing not but it was just worded kinda like it is.. (My guess was that it was use your own mods (as long as they don't alter the chart) kinda deal like normal SM tournements is this like what the deal is?) I figure its going to be based on who gets more marvelous or perfect as well (score?)

What i ment is that you get EXTRA point for technic and speed and everything else. For example lets say you do a song thats 9 Steps, Score a "AA" with 120 Marvelous on 2X speed, drunk, hidden and only using one hand you are scorring is going to be higher then if you do the same song Score a "AA" using 2 hands at 3X speed with 200 Marvelous.

You dont lose any point but just get more if you do it better.

There is going to a a small prize for a Score competision. Simple rules you pick 3 song and have to "AAA" all 3. No limit on dificulty or mod's.

Hmm ok I think I have my game plan then.. also how does choosing a song take place? is it one player chooses one then second player chooses then Random?

On Game night we are going to have a list of songs to chose from. There is also going to be copy's of the sim files available for you to copy. You get to pick your 3 song's from the list of approved.

Im probably goign to post the list about 1 or 2 weeks on the website.

Alright, now that the technical players are done there chat. Time to get to the real show: Free Style. What are going to be the limitations and the set difficulty? Secondly, are we required to use one pad or will we be able to use two?

for the free style competision its going to be a single pad and no hold bar on song or dificulty. you pick what is going to allow you to give the best show.

the winner gets picked by a team of 3 judges.

Style and kick ass moves pretty much for the free style.

Well start unless you have an other hard pad laying arround, 200$ to give or can build a hardpad with in the next couple weeks. Yes we only have one pad. ^-^


HOWEVER, if you want to do double on softpads that can be arranged.

Quick note to everyone we are going to also have softpads available for game night.

Very kool Score man! Love the mods you used!

Yeah I've practiced with alot of mods but this combination is pretty cool but Im thinking about playing 1x but it would be alot harder to score so Im wondering if the drop from a AAA to a AA with 3x to 1x would end up giving me a better score.

1x is ALOT harder

So what are the prizes for all the DDR Competitions? there is 1 day left to go and Im really excited to get going
