Anime North

i wanna go ^_^ have to book time off work though. that would be good. anyone been to either anim north or anime meritimes?

my causins been to anime north. She had fun but says CN anime is better. Both are held in the same conferance center.

bah have a wedding reception to pay for and then a trip to go visit family. can't really afford to do all of it this year, might just stick close to home for the anime con's and then plan for the others next year ^_^

I have a new car I have to work on. No way I would be able to afford that.

i am sooooo going to animenorth i wnet 2 years in a row and its worth it!! ^___^ it is sooo cool!!!! and if we get alot of people to come it will cut the costs by alot!

i never heard of animemaritimes beofre O_O thats aweomse!!! if i can i ouwld to go to that one too since its so close from here and cheap ^_^ hopefully i would get my cosplays done in time too ^_^ omg CONS ARE SO AWESOME!!

im so exited!! me and a couple of people are planning to go at animenorth for sure! so if anyone wants to come let me know ill tell you more about how much it would cost in all and everything depending on how many people are comming ^_^

i agree it would be awesome to hit up animenorth, depending on the cost and how much time i would have to be off of work.

as it is, animemaritimes falls right on my days off, so that's just peachy ^_^

hehe we can make it as short as friday saturday sunday, so depending whre you have your days off..you might only have to miss a day or two ^_^

thats how we did it last year...leave friday on plane(cost for tickets will be minimized greatly if we are a big groupe) then its an hour and a half flight ...get there around 5pm......have a blast!!!till sunday...then take the plane back and voila! we get back sunday during the day ,,^___^ sounds good?

we'll have to see when they will be by then. right now my days off are thursday/friday, but i can probably swap shifts with people too.

it all depends. anime maritimes is on a thursday, friday, saturday i think.

SHould be another bid before then.

It would realy kick ass thow if we could all go as a group. Makes everything cheaper.

I'm heading out to AN2K6, a few guys are setting up a StepMania booth, there should be about 3000+ songs in the list, and I'm bringing my Arcade Class Pads if I finish them in time ^_^.

cool beans! i know there should be a shift bid before anime north hits, but i doubt my ranking will be high enough to swing weekends off with an early enough start time to make my home life happy ^_^

but who knows? i might get lucky. ^_^

nope never do. i'll just have to be evil and put the baby in day care and then HAVE to have weekends off and be done by a certain time in order to pick the lil one up ^_^

hehe guys a heard that theres gonna be a ball at anime nrth, you dont have to go to the ball if you dont want to but if so, think of what youll wear ^_^...it probably doesnt have to be formal...but it would be cool having formal cosplays..thats what i might do ^_^ ..im gonna try to make the Utena suit^___^

heres info on the registration:

Single Registrations
Until March 17 - $35 CDN, $28 US
From March 18 to April 21: $45 CDN, $36 US

Group Admissions (10 or more people)
Group registration allows groups of 10 or more people to pre-register at special prices:

Until March 17 - $30 CDN per person, $24 US per person
From March 18 to April 21: $35 CDN per person, $28 US per person

The final deadline for group registration is April 21, 2006.

as you can see its gonna be cheaper if we register soon and in a group
