Good news!

Hello everyone,

Well this is it! The new start (TAKE 2). This time arround most of the chages have already started. So what changes have been made you may ask? Well here is a list of changes and whats comming for all MAF members.

1) New Photo gallery for your art works AND Fan con pics.
2) The FTP server is UP! See the forum for details!
3) WEB RADIO! On the 26th of Feb MAF Radio goes on the air! 24/7 Music hits from when ever and LIVE webcast events!
4) The RP games are going to start but i need someone who wants to be in charge of it since i already have a full plate.
5) More chat and board system
6) New Name and look to come
7) and more....

A New Start !

Hello everyone,

Well this is it! The new start. For the next fiew weeks your going to see alot of changes on the site as well as ALOT of new features.

Here is a short list of things to come. Please be patient well we get the bugs out of the system too :P

1) New Photo gallery for your art works.
2) New Point systems to reward active members
3) New FTP server filled with over 1 TB of Anime TV shows, Movies, AMVs and so much more . . .
4) New RP games for the Roleplayer out there ^-^
5) New chat and board system
6) New Name and look to come
7) NEW EVERYTHING!!! .... . .

Movies & More + Anime!!!

Well Starting this week Movies and more (located off mountain road behind the timmy's) on Lounsdale road now has a anime section for a good price $2.99 for 3 day rental. So now it's not just gamezila who has it. (not saying there is anything wrong with gamezila) veriaty is good.

On a diferent note our meeting are going to be starting again on the 3rd week of march since alot of our members are still not quite back from vacation until then.

IF anyone else wants to host a meeting at there place please just post it on the forum.

OMG 2000!

Well It's been a bit since our last update but here it is. We have finaly reached our 2000th visitor and are now with 91 member's. Im glad to see that we are moving up in the world.

Couple Ed Fest updates, The FAQ and Tournament section has been updated. And just a reminder once again that your registration includes a meal. I keep getting e-mailed about ti and keep getting the same questions over and over. So FOOD IS INCLUDED in your registration. IF you are interesteed in upgrading your meal like Steak or something please e-mail me right away and let me know.

Besides that we now have over 1800$ in prizes. So if you want into it make sure you send me your registration ASAP.

Ed Fest 2006

Hey everyone! It’s Time for an other LAN. This year Ed Fest has something very special. Not only are we going to be hosting one of the first Battle Field 2142 tournament but we are also going to be promoting Female Gamers by offering a free registration package to the first all female team to register! Lets not forget that we are also going to be having a DDR tournament as well.

Ed Fest 2006 is going to be held at the Future inns Hotel in Moncton on November 24th. The tournament is a 12h long event going from 7PM to 7AM on the morning of the 25th.

Some New Groovy Things

Hey people! Well some new features to point out about the forum. Added the diferent sections on the forum. I also split some forum subjects that deserved there own topic. Also id like to give a worm welcome to all our new member. Hope you all have fun!

Dont forget that the applications for the committeemust be in by the 15th. Also our first meeting of the year is comming up so bring your friends and family members. The Anime night is going to be starting a bit late due to a trip to Saint-John to pick up a cat. ^-^. So everything is going to start at 7:00 PM and it is going to be held at my place. Some more changes

I have done some more changes and we now have our own web ring and new sites linking to ours. If anyone has the chanse please click on the links in the links section on the left side. Also im glad to hear that eveyron likes the fridge. ^-^ Im going to get the new possitions that are opening soon for our commity.

Work almost done!

Alright So as you must have noticed i did some major changes yesterday. No word of a lie i have spent most of yesterday on this making my own icon's and all. So hope you like it. Like the title say's it's not all done but it's almost 100% complete. Please read the news for yesterday as well. Lots of info on what i have been working on. OW and one last thing dont use offensive language on the fridge cause everyone uses the same fridge.

Starting soon!!!

So we are getting closser and closser to the start of anime season. We have an upcomming BBQ and Anime night still on the works so keep your eye's pealed to the forum for more info. Im going to be looking for someone to help me with creating a Moncton Anime Data Base, it's basicly a list of who has what anime in town and if they are willing to lend,trade,sell... you get what i mean. ^-^ MAF poster's are almost ready! I need to know who wants how many copy's so that we may post some arround town. I already have permision from gamezila to put a couple of them up there so anywhere else would be great! Schools, college, mall, other stores; basicly any public place would be great! Im even willingn to make a couple french posters for the french schools.

Besides that we are going to be foruming the 2006-2007 commity in the next month or so so think about what position youd like to apply for. Open positions are : Vise pressident, Secretary, Public Relations and treasurer. Please see the section in meeting's dedicated to a small description of each job.

Back in Action!!!

Hello everyone,

Ok so after a long period of silence we are back in action. Im letting everyone know that we are going to be forming a new comity and have allot more activity's starting September. Also by the looks of it we are going to be holding our meetings on Friday nights again!

This year we are planning on having alot more events and organised trips to anime conference's. Also for the first couple meetings we are going to be holding the meeting at my place but i would like some people to post idea's on where they would like to hold permanent meetings (at a college, bar, privet building...).

In the mean time id like to invites you all to send invites to all your friends and let everyone know about us.

New Partner

We have just become web partners with a kick @$$ anime download site. Anime-browser.com is a great site where you can download anime episodes, movies, OVAs and more... Check it out.

Also we are going to be hosting a AMV presentation at Clientlogic during there LAN party. The details are still being scotched out and nothing is official as of yet but keep checking with me and the site for more updates. The AMV showing is going to be a 24h period showing. If anyone local wants to volunteer please contact me.

Moncton Anime Federation is growing and new members are joining our ranks. I hope that everyone does there part to let your friends know about us. We are going to have our first couple news article coming soon. Also we well possibly have a FTP server dedicated to distribute your Anime Music Video's soon. (note this server is NOT for downloading anime). We are also looking at a couple places to post posters. If anyone has any idea's please let me know.

Hello everyone,Just to let some of you know we are now developing the group at a excellent rate. If we keep promoting the group and form the comity things well be looking better and better. We might actually qualify to receive free stuff from production companies. Well for now here is a bit of news.
