Idea's on Fabric and meterial's

It has come to my attention that once we do decide on a anime we well need to make custumes. Thust im getting info from everyone on your sowing skill's.

Please post What your good at doing:
- sewing by hand
- sewing with s sowing machine
- Building chainmail
- Building metal plated armor
- building nero type weapons (foam core)
- Makeup
- anything else i missed...

so just let us know what you or someone you know is good at.

My self i can make weapons and sewing by hand.

Ok..I have to say this. It is sewing. We are not going to be scattering seeds over the ground.

Anywho, myself, I suck. But I bet my grandfather and I could make some things out of wood or metal. Might be able to sew by hand, but I doubt it.

kool, my brother could probably make some kick ass leather armor. He's good that way, as well as make kick ass nero weapons.

there are a few good seamstresses around. i'm definitely not one of them. but there are a few that if you have the design, and materials, they will make the outfit/costume really cheap. just takes a little research to find the right person ^_^

If we go with the .hack theme the costumes are not that hard to make thow.

true enough, they have very loose fitting outfits that would not be very tough to replicate. you'd still need someone who can make a sewing machine work properly, and that definitely would not be me.

hehe!! cosplay is my thing! ive been making costumes and props since ive been in theatre that mens about 10 years!!

-i can sew
-i can make weapon
-i can make accesories
-etc..if you have the picture of it i can make it.

my most famous one is my Lulu costume i made for animenorth2004
and my modified lulu costume won a hall award at animenorth2005 (i modified it just cuz i didnt have time to make a new costume lol)
oh and i also made a catwoman costume for halloween but it has nothing to do with anime

so my cosplays are covered..the only thing im missing is time _-_

So i guess we have a seamstriss for the group.

i dont mind making costumes but i would need to find time..with work its kinda hard.....as long as you guys buy the fabric and follow my instruction as in: buying the amount of fabric and material i tell you to buy its gonna be doable i think..

also the thing is with me is that i dont have one of those manequinsand its all costum work so that means alot of time from you being here to mesure and such ...cuz when you do something without a parten its mesure cut mesure cut sew mesureetc..

but if youre ready to give the time and effort i will be too

If I end up going, I'd be willing to sped all my free time working on a costume... but the thing is, alone, I wouldn't even know where to start...

But yeah, if I am able to go, and you're willing to make (or work on) the costume, I'd gladly do whatever I can to help you ^.^

(I still wish I had my Black Mage costume... the staff could be replaced... but I can't find another hat like that anywhere ...

Thats y we are gong to work on it as a group so the qualaty of the custumes well be the same all arround.

Im going to be working on a list of meterials.

Im studying the costumes we need to make. My self im planning on working on the weapons.

Im also going to be giving a price list of what each costumes well cost us.
