Neon Genesis Evangelion

This is one of my favorite animes for many reasons, of course I am the same age as the pilots, and I can understand them...sorta... and Pen Pen is the best. It has a very good storyline, and was drawn by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, the best character designer in my opinion.

This is just a place if you want to discuss the diffrent subjects of Neon Genesis Evangelion. And yeah...that's all.

I remember when i first bought my 1st VHS of Evangelion. It was at Spin It on Main street, I also bought a Bad Religion VHS hehe.
and yeah Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is one of my fav artists.
I also did a few art projects of Evangelion when i was in high school

Yoshiyuki made so many good animes

i have the final movie and i watched the whole series in one sitting , my head exploded afterwords.

Lol in one sitting!!! That must have been fun! I read all the books and watched all of the episodes and End of Evangelion

Can someone explain the last episode to mean. Watch the entire series twice and still can't understand the last episode.

oh okay how'd it go again... I remember it all in general... not in episodes

It really doesn't go in any certain way but in a random acid trip as dicribe by my friends. We all watch the entire series but can't for the life of us figure out the last epi. Its hard to figure out. It seems like it had nothing to do witht the series but an off shoot of it. It was wierd for sure.

Oh yeah now I remember... it was showing Shinji in his annoying depressed state... well they were trying to get Shinji undepressed, trying to show him that he can turn everything around... in the end he becomes undepressed...but returnes that was in the movie...

only ever saw the movie, and well that was confusing enough for me. pretty good, but definitely one that i had to pay attention to, and even then it didn't make a lot of sense

I always thought that acid trip was the Human Instrumentalisation Project. I could be mistaken.

On the last episode Shinji finaly gets out of depression just to go back and get depressed about saving the world...What an idiot

I say a psychiatrist more then a golden star.

yes i agree, so i need a psychiatrist, in the way of i understand it, but in a much deeper way. it hurts the head when i try to explain.

Well actually if you enough of your bible and the prophicies in the series, you'll understand it a bit better. And knowing the bible like I do I find some parts rather veryunrelated and inaccurate, but what the heck, it's an awesome series.

The funny thing is it a play on not just one religion.

it makes references to more than one religion, not just christianity.

but it still hurts my brain to watch it

It just hurt my brain ingeneral. The the seriers was great but the last show was just painfull.
