Hey everyone! It’s Time for an other LAN. This year Ed Fest has something very special. Not only are we going to be hosting one of the first Battle Field 2142 tournament but we are also going to be promoting Female Gamers by offering a free registration package to the first all female team to register! Lets not forget that we are also going to be having a DDR tournament as well.

Ed Fest 2006 is going to be held at the Future inns Hotel in Moncton on November 24th. The tournament is a 12h long event going from 7PM to 7AM on the morning of the 25th.

So nothing but good news, looks like this is going to be one hell of an event. We now have well over $1000 in prizes to give away. As well we are still waiting on some major sponsors to get back to us.

I cant stress this enof. Register in advance! Even if your only goiung to be sending the money in later i need more pre-registration in order to have the bigger room at the hotel. Also dont forget that anyone who pays in advance gets extra swag in there welcome kit's.

IF you did not know your registration include your meal for the night. And when i mean meal im not talking pizza, im talking actual real food! For those with a BIG appitite you can also order Steak, ribs and more IF and only IF you arrange so a minimum of 2 weeks before hand. (This need to be payed for in advance). like i said the food we are getting is real food.

After recieving so many e-mails asking about it im happy to announce that we are going to be holding a casemod competision as well. So get modding!

There are a couple major changes on the site, including a faq section with all your questions you have been e-mailing me with. Make sure to read all of them before e-mailling me with more questions.

More Updates for everyone!

So Iv been getting a bunch of late spoonsorship and i dont know y. You would think they would want to get advertising early in the game. But anyways ^-^ im not complaining.

So i get the fealing that ED fest is going to be a real blast. Even if i where to only end up with 40 people there is so much kool stuff planned that it would still end up being a great success. Right now i have about 20 pre-reg and im expecting to get about 60 people. If i get a stupid ammount of people showing up i am equipped to handle up to 120 people and could probably manage if it realy came down to it to handle 240 people. Remember to tell your friends, co-workers, parents and who ever else. If you need a poster for the event simply go on the main page of our website www.monctonlanparty.com and download it.

We are going to have DDR, a lounge, free food, a snack bar and a hole bunch more. The room and the set-up we are looking at is realy going to be sweet.

Ya for the big eaters out there free food, as in free food you dont have to pay for. I have not decided at 100% yet but more then likely im going to be serving subs from subway. For anyone out there who is realy hungry Maverick's Steakhouse with is in the same building is going to stay open a couple extra hours that night and are open for all our gamers feasting needs. Try the steak ... OMG good!

I also recruted my scouting group to come and do the snack stand. There is going to be pop, chips, candy, popcorn, chocolet bars and more for the gammers during the night.
