MAF comity 2006-2007 (Application)

Ok so it's time to form this years comity! Here is how it works; Fill in the application form. E-mail it to me then we well sort threw the people that we beleive could not do the job. The on September 15th (witch is the deadline for applications). We are going to post all the applicants names and get you guys to vote on who you want in the comity. The election is going to be on september 30th.

First off know that by being part of the comity you have a Major pivotal role as for cumming up with events, promotions and other activity's. Here is a description detailing what each job is specific to. Once again everyone who is part of the comity gets a say on what goes on. Any major event to be decided on well be voted over the forum with all MAF members. (including members outside of moncton. Also note that these positions are open to all MAF and non-MAF member's

Vise president,
===========
The job of the VP is to help manage meetings and organise events. The VP also has the responsibility to make sure that all active maf members are up to date on current events. The VP might be asked to replace the President in meeting with other people outside of the MAF.


Secretary,
=========
Well this job is pretty simple. Take minutes at the meetings. Type up a report on what we talk about and post it on the forum so that everyone can see what was going on at the meeting.


Public Relations
============
The Public Relations Officer; or PRO as i like to call it, is responsible for making contact with the people we need to get a hold of. This person most NOT be timid as this job requires making allot of phone call's and meet people we need to meet.


Treasurer
=======
Humm...Well if i really need to explain... Since MAF is 100% non-profit we don't get to deal with cash very often BUT when we are organising events and everyone need to pay for something the treasurer makes sure all the books are balanced. Same thing if we are holding a fundraiser the treasurer must make sure that all the numbers round up. This person is also going to have to be one of the people that is going to have signing authority when it comes to paying for stuff.

So even I'm available for position though you've never seen me in you life?

you got it sparky. if there is something that tickles your fancy, let us know. I was secretary/kitchen witch last year and will, for the most part, gladly take over both posts again this year if no one else is game to give them a try ^_^

meh meetings seem to have 4 people on a regular basis. try making the ones with the library when we have them. it would give you a better chance maybe?

yeah very much so! When are those meetings held?

They're once a month and honestly, I'm not sure which day. G is going to make sure they get posted as soon as he knows about them though. ^_^
